The Plymouth Historical Museum is the ideal setting for weddings, showers, receptions, corporate functions, club meetings, funeral luncheons, and many other events. Our Sanford Burr Meeting Room can comfortably seat up to about 100 people, depending on the configuration. Prices are reasonable, and for an additional fee, it can include a private tour of the Museum.

My daughter was looking for a place to host her 18th birthday party, for which she wanted to do swing dancing. We were thinking maybe she couldn’t have it because we could not find a room that would work, yet was reasonably priced. I happened to see that the Historical Museum had a room to rent, so we went to see it, and it was perfect! The employees were so kind when we went to look at it, the booking was very quick and easy, and best of all, the price was right! The day of the party, museum staff was very accommodating in letting us decorate the room. They returned early to let us in and were prompt in arriving to lock up at the end of the party. The facilities were fantastic! The kind and amount of tables and chairs were just perfect for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and readily accessible. The kitchen was in good order too. The room was the perfect place to host a party. You get great value for the price of the rental. I would highly recommend the Plymouth Historical Museum for any type of gathering and hope to return again someday. Thank you all so much for making our daughter’s 18th birthday so memorable for her and her friends.
